Which way from your end of Bridgewater?
The township wraps around much of Somerville and Raritan, so the answer depends on the neighborhood. Finderne and Bradley Gardens sit closest: pick up Route 28 and stay on it through Bound Brook and it arrives in Middlesex as Bound Brook Road. That is roughly fifteen minutes. From the Commons and the Route 22 and 202/206 junction, add a few minutes getting down to Route 28. From Martinsville or the Chimney Rock end in the foothills, head down toward Bound Brook and join Route 28 there, closer to twenty-five minutes all told.
Parking is easy at the store. Middlesex is open weekdays and on Saturday morning into the afternoon, and closed Sunday, so a Saturday after a game at TD Bank Ballpark works as well as a lunch break from an office park off I-287.
